Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Packers
Polyethylene Terephthalate plastic bottles are used for virtually all product applications from food supplements to pharmaceuticals.
A saturated, thermoplastic, polyester resin made by condensing ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. It is extremely hard, wear-resistant, dimensionally stable, resistant to chemicals, and has good dielectric properties.
The “greenest” of all resins because of its versatility, recyclability, glass-like clarity, shatter-resistant quality, and oxygen barrier properties. A PET Packer is the “workhorse” of consumer plastic bottle packaging and well suited to convert into the package of your choice. Amber is the stock color; but customers may elect to have plastic bottles made in custom matched colors.
Paradigm Packaging's stock packers are listed in family groupings or series; all are similar and round in shape, but differentiated by their capacity and neck finish. The neck can be made to accept Continuous Thread (CT) or Hinge Guard (HG) style closures in a variety of diameters.
Paradigm Packaging uses IBM machines to make PET packers ranging in capacity from 50cc to 500 cc’s and ISBM equipment for sizes up to 950cc.
