Paradigm Packaging is built on a solid foundation of industry experience. As in many industries today, companies expand and grow through mergers, acquisitions, and name changes. For Paradigm, the story started about forty years ago with an East Coast and a West Coast packaging company.
IP Container in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, made HDPE and Polystyrene plastics. At the same time, Trans Container, with plants in Utah and California, made small paint bottles. In 1996 and '98, they were bought by an U.K. based company, Waddington, and renamed Waddington-Jay Care. In 2000 the company was sold to a US based private equity company and renamed Paradigm Packaging. In 2008 Robert Donnahoo was named President of the company.
Our mission and vision is to meet the packaging needs of our customers and consumers and thereby be the ultimate source of plastic bottles and packaging solutions world wide in our markets. With four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, excellent staff training, process and production controls, we strive to achieve our mission every day.
We still retain some of our original customers of over 30 years, and value both external and internal customers. We utilize a CRM (Customer Research Management) program to understand our customers, their needs, and what creates value for them. Our goal is to create and deliver industry-leading products and services that consistently meet the highest product quality and service commitments. We measure performance on our success in meeting our customers' needs.
We relentlessly seek ideas and best practices inside and outside Paradigm Packaging. We continually strive for improvement. Our culture promotes rational risk taking and view failures as learning experiences. We embrace change introduced by others.
Paradigm Packaging considers responsible community participation an integral part of business.
